Rescheduling May's Virtual Meetup for Drupal.org to Drupal 7 Updates

On the first Thursday of every month the Association hosts an open Virtual Meetup (formerly Town Hall). Drupal.org Upgrade Sprint Kicks Off

Today at OSUOSL's offices in Portland, Oregon a sprint kicked off to upgrade Drupal.org to Drupal 7. This sprint is a major step forward, moving the infrastructure that we all use onto the latest version of our software. We are also laying the foundation for additional upgrades on Drupal.org so we can continue to make it an amazing place to collaborate. This is step one in a major plan for Drupal.org.

Tell us what you think in the Membership Survey

Like a healthy plant, our membership program needs TLC to grow. The Drupal Association has grown in the past few years, and in order for it to continue to do so (and thrive!) the membership program needs your feedback. We know you have opinions! Please share them.

I am the new membership coordinator and I have put together a survey of just under 20 questions (and fewer if you are in the Drupal community but don’t yet have a membership). It won’t be painful, I promise!

DrupalCon Munich is around the corner: call for papers and registration open

Global Drupal Days on Friday, February 24

This Friday, February 24, 2012 many of our community leaders are hosting low-cost or free Drupal Trainings through a new initiative we are forming called Drupal Days. While the Drupal Association will officially launch its Drupal Days program in June, 2012, the Drupal Association is very pleased and encouraged to see trainings taking place this week all over the world. This is a key initiative for the association to promote Drupal even more broadly this year. Drupal Days are full and half-day trainings introducing people to Drupal, or those wanting to learn more.

Vote for the Next DrupalCon Europe 2013 Host City

Which city would you like to see host the 2013 European DrupalCon? The Drupal Association worked with a European Selection Committee led by Advisory Board Member, Kristof Van Tomme. They selected ten potential locales for the European DrupalCon in 2013 based on a set of predetermined criteria. And now it’s your turn to vote!
