We had our first Meet the Candidates session yesterday and spoke with four of our thirteen candidates. Normally, I would link to the audio recording of that call, but due to user error <hangs head in shame> the audio is gone. However, thanks to the amazing kattekrab, we do have a pretty remarkable transcript from the session.
We've got a diverse slate of 13 candidates for the 2 At-Large board posisitons at the Drupal Association. Now's the time for you to find out what each candidate hope to acheive on the board, and what they can bring the Drupal Association. We have two ways for you to interact with the candidates and get your questions answered.
It’s time! After almost a year and a half of work we are at the finish line. Today we’d like to open D7 Drupal.org for community QA. We invite you all to login to the site, look around, do some of the things you usually do on Drupal.org and report any bugs or problems you encounter. Community QA will last for at least 3 weeks. The launch date will be sometime after DrupalCon Prague and will depend on how many bugs you find. :)
Time to have some fun! As discussed in a previous blog post, as part of a set of launch activities being planned to help provide a marketing splash for Drupal 8 when it launches, we’re developing a brand identity for the release. Today we’re excited to show some concepts and ask for feedback.
This month, the Drupal Association kicked off its webinar series for community members who wanted to learn how to better support and lead their local community, user group, and camp. We invited guest speakers from the community to share their knowledge and pro-tips on topics that range from existing resources, to lessons learned (and things to avoid!).
Now's the time! As we announced on August 16, we're looking to fill the two At-Large Director positions that are opening. The At-large Director position is specifically designed to ensure community representation on the Drupal Association board and we strongly encourage anyone with an interest to take part in the process.
I'm Soonreal (Michael) from Minsk, Belarus. In this two part series I will tell you how our group “The Drupal Club” took part in Drupal Days and helped build a community in Belarus during 2011-2013 years, step by step.
