This is one of the hardest blog posts that I've had to write. Regrettably and with much consternation we have decided to cancel DrupalCon Sao Paulo due to a low level of sponsorship support, fewer than expected session submissions, and higher than expected costs.

We are excited to announce that after doing more research, we reduced DrupalCon Sao Paulo Sponsorship Pricing (Some package prices are even cut in half!). We can't put on this important event without sponsor support, so we are pricing packages to be as affordable as possible so more companies can participate.

Will you support DrupalCon Sao Paulo? 

We are all excited about DrupalCon Munich, and while everybody is working hard to assure a successful and awesome European DrupalCon in August, at the same time, the team for DrupalCon São Paulo is beginning with it’s work. Besides the continuing DrupalCon team from the Drupal Association, new volunteers from the community are on board and working for the first DrupalCon in Latin America. Let me present to you the leads of each group of volunteers:

We are excited about our first conference in Latin America to be held in São Paulo, Brazil from December 6-8, 2012. This is a vibrant, new and growing Drupal community, and conference planning is well underway and the venue will be announced soon. Speakers from all around the world will be welcome to submit their proposals, as soon as the call for papers opens in the coming weeks.
