Last year, the Drupal Association had to raise over $115,000 to fund the Drupal.org D7 upgrade, so we created the Supporting Partner Program. 37 very generous, early adopter companies joined this program and we exceeded our fundraising goal with their fees.

The program was very simple. Fees were based on a company’s annual revenue, and benefits ranged from a 10% DrupalCon sponsorship discount to a thank you tweet. You can see the full program details here.

Now, the Drupal Association is tasked to take on a much larger role with Drupal.org to make significant improvements. We now have a $500,000+ fundraising goal to hire and retain a Drupal.org tech team.

To reach this goal, we will improve and formalize the Supporting Partner Program to attract more partners with benefits that help their business with greater visibility, savings, networking and more.

Before we finalize the program, we need your input to make sure we tailor the program benefits to your business needs.
