Last week the COD team finished their summer marathon and launched five DrupalCon websites on the latest version of COD for Drupal 7. Find more details in this blog post by Jacob Redding. We'd like to say thank you to everyone who helped us make that happen.

During the past weeks it seems we've reached a consensus on the guidelines for the Marketplace and are going to move forward with the code implementation in the next few weeks.

The case studies section still needs more content and on Saturday, August 11, we are planning an IRC sprint for case study migration. Everyone is welcome to join and help us migrate some case studies! More information will follow soon.

Drupal 7 upgrade

There has been some decent forward progress on the Git Team, specifically on file and directory structure for BDD tests, a way to pass data from one scenario to a later (dependent) scenario, automated remote password authentication in Git.

The Infrastructure team got servers in place for Drupal 7 staging/dev environments.

The Project team is actively working on the new Issue page.

The team

On a sad note - last week we said "good-bye" to Heather Klawender, who worked with the Drupal Association as a project manager for 3 month (her time was generously donated by OpenSourcery) and Sheldon Kreger, who worked with the Drupal Association first as a marketing intern, and then as a developer. We'd like to say thank you for all their work and wish them both good luck in their future endeavours!

DrupalCon

DrupalCon Munich happening in about 2 weeks. Drupal.org team will be there and we would like to meet you! We are planning some BOFs and sprints, to meet, discuss and work together on some exciting changes for Drupal.org. Look for more announcements in the following weeks.

And follow us on Twitter to always stay up-to-date.
