To provide a better user experience, drupal.org/hosting has been redesigned. Before, it was one page with a mixture of many Drupal-ready shared and enterprise/managed hosts. Community members felt that the page was cluttered and that it was hard to find the hosting service that best fit their needs.

To solve these issues and to make drupal.org/hosting more user-friendly, the page has been converted into three tabs:

• Shared Hosts
• Enterprise & Managed Hosts
• Platform as a Service

On each tab, hosting companies are listed based on their financial contribution to the community:

• Gold Level provides a web ad promoting the hosting service
• Silver Level allows the hosting company to provide an affiliate link so the community earns a commission whenever a click through becomes a purchase
• Bronze Level is a free listing of other Drupal-ready hosts

Revenue generated from this page is invested back into the community to fund new drupal.org servers, community grants and more. Additional details about the drupal.org/hosting page can be found here.
