Program benefits are described below. Both tiers receive all of the following benefits, but those marked "Premium Level" are only for the Premium Technology Supporters.

Trainings

Best ways to engage the Drupal Community (Dos and Dont’s) session from Drupal Association. This is an onboarding training for Technology Supporters that explains how they should engage and talk to the community so their message resonates well. And in the session, you can brainstorm the best way to leverage your program benefits. 

Premium Level:

How to find and connect with Module Developers working on your technology. Did you know there are thousands of developers building Drupal integrations (modules) to third party software like yours? This training shows you how to locate those module developers, how to connect with them, and ways to collaborate them to make deeper integrations that are updated more often. 

 

Drupal.org Visibility

Logo on Drupal.org Technology Supporters web page with a short text description. Placement of your corporate logo sized 274 x 104 pixels on the Drupal.org Supporting Technology Program page  with a short (45 characters maximum) text description of your technology.

Logo on web page linked to Drupal.org Organization page. Your logo will be linked to your Drupal.org organization page. This page informs the community about your company, has the links that you want the community to use for your web site and shows your contributions and support of the Drupal community. If you do not have a Drupal.org Organization page, we will show you how to create one. We also suggest that your organization page have a link to a Drupal specific page on your web site, to further demonstrate your support for Drupal.

Program Web Badge shown on Organization and Individual Member pages. Each level has a distinctive web badge. This web badge will be shown on your company's Drupal.org Organization page and also on individual Drupal.org members that belong to the company. To set up these pages, register at Drupal.org and then go here to create your Organization Profile page and go here to set up your Individual Profile page.

Program Web Badge available for use on Supporters Website - We will provide a copy of your web badge to you in PNG format for your use on your website or other Drupal related materials.

Drupal.org web advertising discount. Drupal.org has various pages where ads may be purchased. See https://association.drupal.org/advertising/web for a complete list of the pages and spots available. This benefit provides you the discount off of the ads list prices and cannot be used on any specially promotion prices or offered for ads.

  • Premium Discount - We will offer Premium Technology Supporters 10% off the list price or the best available promotional pricing plus 10% off, whichever is better.
  • Supporter Discount - We will offer Technology Supporters 5% off list price or the best available price plus 10% (110% of the promotional price), whichever is better.

Highlight your Drupal-specific updates and news in the Technology Supporters' Resource Center. In order to engage the Drupal community effectively, you will need to articulate how your product or service works in relation to Drupal. You may have a landing page on your website dedicated to your Drupal offering and/or collateral and videos. You can share all of these educational materials by placing them in the Resource Center located on the Drupal.org Program Page. Just email us a link to your new educational material and we will post it here as well as promote it via social media and the Drupal Association newsletter.

Premium Level:

Drupal.org Web Page Advertising on select pages for 1 month for free -or- Drupal Association Newsletter Ad. You can select between a free ad that will run for one month on one of the Drupal.org pages below or you can place a digital ad in the Drupal Association newsletter, which reaches over 6,000 members and has a 35% open rate.

Drupal Association Communications

Special Offers for members listed in Membership Benefits page. Raise the profile of your product by offering a discount or special offer to over 3,000 Drupal Association members. It will get listed on the Drupal Association website and we will promote it to the community at large via social media as well as in our Drupal Association newsletter. Limit one special offer per company. We list one special offer you want to provide Association members. Discount offers are submitted here.

Tweet by Drupal Association of news and education information. You can request the Drupal Association tweet or retweet information for you. Supporters receive one tweet per year and Premium Technology Supporters receive four tweets. Tweet uses include promoting your webinars, news releases, case studies, and other educational news. Submit tweet requests here.

Camp Leader Communications. Drupal community members organize camps (weekend training events) all around the world. They attract between 200 to 400 attendees on average with an emphasis on developers and site builders. They are a great channel for your marketing strategy and worthy of your sponsorship dollars especially since they are low cost (about $500), but it can take hours finding camps that are right for you and the sponsorship contact for each camp. This benefit streamlines this process for you. Just complete a webform that asks for your camp sponsor criteria. We pass that on to our global camp leaders. If they feel your criteria matches their event they will contact you directly with a sponsorship package.

Drupal.org Updates that Recognize and Thank Technology Supporters. The Drupal Assoication periodically provides updates to the community about the various Assoication projects within the community. As part of those updates Technology Supporters will be recognized and thanked. 

Early notice of NEW promotional programs. You will receive notice of new opportunities that will help you connect with the community such as DrupalCon sponsorships and new Drupal.org web advertising.

Quarterly Drupal Association "status update" Call with Executive Director. You will be invited to a quarterly call hosted the the Drupal Association Executive Director that is attended by both Supporting Partners (Drupal web development companies) as well as Technology Supporters. The Executive Director will provide updates about the Drupal Association's programs, where and how your program fees are supporting the community, updates about Drupal (such as release dates), and tips and tricks to get the most out of your program benefits.

Premium Level:

Recorded educational Webinar for posting in Resource Center. We will work with you to develop and then record a webinar (max 60 minutes long) that educates the Drupal community about your Company and technology. The recorded webinar will be placed on the Drupal Association Youtube channel, linked to the Drupal Technology Supporter Resource Center, and Drupal Association Webinars page. We will also promote your recording to the Drupal community through social media. 
 
Featured Article in Drupal Assoication Newsletter. Create a featured article for the Drupal Association newsletter. Drupal Association marketing resources will review and approve your subject as well as provide the length/size restriction.

Featured Blog Post on Drupal Association Web site. Write a guest blog for the Drupal Association to provide educational and informative (non salesy) information about your industry, company, offerings. This is a great time to promote your webinar, discounts, and other call to actions. To submit a blog post, follow these guidelines and then email content to your fulfillment manager.
 
 
Communication to opt-in Supporting Partners. Supporting Partners are Drupal web development agencies who build websites for clients around the globe and are strong supporters of the Drupal and the community. These companies have opted-in to receive updates about your offering because they are keen to understand new ways to innovate their clients' websites. We send communications quaraterly and you can will receive an alert to submit your updates in time to be included in the Opt-In Supporting Partner email blast. 

 

DrupalCon Visibility

DrupalCon Sponsor Discount. DrupalCons are the community's international events. About 4,000 Drupalers attend DrupaCon North America each spring and about 2,000 attend DrupalCon Europe each Fall. Sponsoring these events is a great way to engage and educate the community about your offering.  When you select DrupalCon sponsorship packages you will be given this discount off the list price of the all the sponsorship packages. Premium receives 10% off sponsorships for up to two events/year. Supporters receive 10% off of one event per year.

20% discount on up to FIVE DrupalCon passes (off Regular rate tickets). If you are attending DrupalCon but not a SPONSOR, you will receive a 20% discount off REGULAR rate DrupalCon tickets for up to 5 tickets.

Early Notice of DrupalCon Sponsorship availability. You will receive sponsorship packages before the rest of the world sees them. This lets you beat out the competition so you can pick the best booth and sponsor package for you. 

Early selection of booth location. Booths are assigned in the order in which we receive sponsor contracts. So, no matter when you send in your contract, we bump you to the front of the booth selection line, ahead of those who are not Supporters. We do cut off this benefit once booth selection has begun. 

Promotion at Drupal Association Booth. The Drupal Association has a prominent booth at each DrupalCon where community members check in to learn about our programs. We promote Supporters in the booth and let community members know how you help fund our programs.

Logo included in Executive Director & Associate Director Keynote Presentations.  On the Tuesday and Wednesday, the Executive Director and Associate Director present before the Keynote speaker, giving insight into program developments. Both presentations will display your logo on the screen as the speakers highlight and thank Drupal Technology Supporters.

"I'm a Drupal Technology Supporter" Signage for Your Sponsor Booth. If you are exhibiting at DrupalCon, you can show your support and stand out even more with a table tent sign that tells the community that you are a Drupal Technology Supporter.

Invitation to the VIP Supporter and Sponsor Happy Hour. At each DrupalCon, we host a networking event so you can network with Supporting Partners (Drupal web development agencies), Sponsors (Drupal web development agencies, ISVs, Hosting, Training companies), and the Drupal Association Board including the Project's founder, Dries Buytaert. With this benefit, a limited number of people from your company will be invited to the event.

Premium Level:

Attendee list (name, company, title only). Get the most out of DrupalCon by setting up meetings before the event with key contacts. You will receive a spreadsheet of attendees who opted-in to share their contact information. Due to our community privacy policy, we can only email you a spreadsheet of attendees' name, company, and title, but we will show you ways to find and connect with your target audience through other community accepted channels.

Logo Included on Signage in High-Traffic Area. Whether your sponsor or not, you will still be promoted at each DrupalCon. With this benefit, your logo will be placed on signage or projected on a wall in a high traffic area.

Place Branded Swag in Coder Lounge. DrupalCon hosts two Coder Lounges where large groups of Drupalers gather to work on the Project. One is located at the convention center and the other is located at the official hotel. With this benefit, you can provide branded swag like Tshirts and stickers that we place on tables in high traffic areas. It's a great way to get your brand and message out to those that are really driving Drupal forward.
