This week the Drupal Association staff said goodbye to Isabell Schulz as she began her transition to other endeavours. Isabell has been a valued member of the Drupal Community and of the Drupal Association for many years and has been an absolute tremendous asset to our community. It will be dificult for us to find another person with the same strength, talent, expertise, personality, and pure awesomeness that Isabell brought to the Association. Her dynamic and wit will be missed, although Isabell will no longer be working with the Association as an employee we expect to see her continue to be involved in the community and in the Association.

I first became aware of the strength of Isabell's work during DrupalCon Paris. Then a member of AF83's team Isabell played an increasingly important role in the production of DrupalCon Paris. Her effectiveness, professionalism, and project management capabilities were so highly valued that she was hired by Drupal VZW to manage the production of DrupalCon Copenhagen, making her one of the only paid employees of Drupal VZW. I was excited when she accepted a full-time job working for the Drupal Association just before DrupalCon Chicago. Her passion for open source and the Drupal Community shines through in her work and the dedication she has shown to our community is something we can all be proud of.

I want to personally thank Isabell for the commitment and dedication she has given to the Drupal Community. She is one of the many reasons why the Drupal community is the strong, cohesive, and awesome community it is.

Thank you Isabell and good luck on your future endeavors.

Working with Isabell for DrupalCon London was just amazing. She is a great leader and coordinator. I was genuinely sad when DrupalCon was over, and I was going to miss our Friday meetings with all the team leads. I have so much respect for how she communicates and works. I think I learned a lot from her.

Wow, whatever she does next, and where-ever she works: they will be very lucky to have Isabell!!

I would like to say a personal thanks to Isabell. She not only exhibits enviable organisational capabilities, a deep understanding of Drupal and the community, and what is right. In my work with the Drupal Association regarding DrupalCon organising, I have grown a deep respect for Isabell. She has worked tirelessly for the association.

Her talent will be missed.

Good luck Isabell, I know you will make a massive success in your future role.

Hopefully we will be lucky enough to see you at a future Drupalcon or two.

I enjoyed working with Isabell for Drupalcon Copenhagen. And I know it has been said before, but thanks and kudos to her for finding the mute button on MortenDK - not a small feat! :)

Very sad to see Isabell go - she brought a lot of fun and professionalism to DrupalCon, and her enthusiasm was inspirational to everyone she worked with.

Isabell, hope the next job is also fantastic, and that you'll come back and visit us!
