The Drupal Association is proud to announce that we have chosen Portland, Oregon to open a permanent office. A few minutes ago I signed on the dotted line for an office in Portland, Oregon located near Portland State University (PSU) at the PSU Business Accelerator. The move to Portland brings us closer to many other OSS projects and the OSU Open Source Labs. Acceptance into the PSU Business Accelerator (a business incubator) provides us with a host of services and an excellent business network to help accelerate the growth of the Drupal Association and provide you with better support and more services. We'll also be closer to the wonderful and awesome Pacific Northwest Drupal Community, who are hosting the Drupal Summit this weekend.

Our move will not happen over night, but expect to hear more news about Portland over the next couple of months. If you are heading to the Pacific Northwest Drupal Summit, I'll see you there!

Welcome Portland and your wonderful drizzly rain!

Good stuff, very glad to have you and the Association here. Should be a great ongoing boost to what is already an awesome local Drupal community.

Portland Drupalcon? :D

Congratulations on the move - as a UK person who doesn't know much about the US geography I do hear a lot of good things coming out of Portland in terms of Free Software so this sounds like a very cool move!

Hi Jacob,
You will be PSBA neighbors for us at BlueVolt and OpenSesame - we both use Drupal. We're delighted to hear you are coming. The PSBA is a great space. Come say Hi when you are settled in.

Congrats!
