As Dries stated in his Driesnote at DrupalCon Seattle 2019 (https://youtu.be/BNoCn6T9Xf8?t=2149), work on diversity & inclusion is a key priority of the project (https://youtu.be/BNoCn6T9Xf8?t=5793).
How can your knowledge or experience of diversity & inclusion help the Drupal Association meet Dries' call to action?

Even tough I think that Drupal Community is quite diverse and inclusive, I'll keep on the track of listening minorities and include different points of view.

As a board member, you would be responsible for directing strategies for the DA. What changes would you like to make? What strategic initiatives would you like to start/continue/discontinue?

Hi,
I would continue the wonderful job done with inclusion and diversity
I would discontinue with European strategy: the place is too important to be left to itself. First we need to relaunch an internal European DrupalCon and more cohesion with European Institutions (Commission in first)
I would start a local marketing program to bring a more localized knowledge of Drupal assisting the local communities for events and marketing.

I am sure that your technological preparation, your historicity in the use of the framework at very high levels, both with public companies and in the Italian State, your passion for the philosophy born around Drupal, can give a strong push towards a greater diffusion in Europe but above all in Italy. Good luck Pier!!!

I've known you for more than 10 years as an organizer of Drupal events. How do you see the role of the Drupal Association in organizing, promoting and fostering Drupal events? What kind of events would you like to see under the Drupal Association coordination?

DA should be closer to local communities and support their events.
Maybe also Drupal Dev Days should be organized by DA because Europe is the center of code contribution.
