Cary Gordon runs the Cherry Hill Company, a Los Angeles based systems integration and development house specializing in the library and non-profit communities.
Cary started working with Drupal in 2005 when he was tasked with building a user friendly front end for a digital library system (dSpace). The requirements were that it needed to be capable of consuming XML and it had to be free. Drupal fit on both counts. While working on that project, he recognized that Drupal would make a great replacement for Cherry Hill's aging, purpose-built ColdFusion CMS for libraries. This idea was cemented when he discovered the amazing strength of the Drupal community.
As a Permanent Member and Board Member of the Association, Cary's focus is on building and supporting that community. His direct responsibility is the management of Drupal Events, including DrupalCons.
