Greg's interest in the Internet began while studying for a degree in Architecture (the buildings kind) in Hull, East Yorkshire, UK. After building websites for the university and study groups he began work as an architectural technician, but soon found building websites became more and more a focus of his work. This continued until one day building buildings vanished in to the background completely. In 2000 he packed in architecture and started work as a full time web developer for an advertising agency. Since then he has never looked back, working as a developer, team leader, project manager and head of technology for a host of Internet businesses across a variety of sectors and a spectrum of sizes. His most recent post saw him heading up the development of social networking websites at a specialist web agency, working with many different clients to bring their UGC websites to life. This is where he encountered Drupal for the first time and, pleased with what he saw, he selected Drupal as the platform of choice for that business.
Two years on, he now works for himself, mainly as a Drupal developer and consultant, offering Drupal development, project management and teaching services in and around the London area and abroad.
