We would like to sincerely thank the 2008 board, who achieved many excellent goals including spear-heading Drupal.org redesign efforts, putting on two successful Drupalcons, and establishing a Legal FAQ around GPL issues. Thanks also go to Dries Knapen, who has stepped down to focus on his professional life after doing a tremendous job boot-strapping the Drupal Association as one of its founding members. And last but not least, we would also like to thank all community members who applied. These votes are never easy, and we hope to see even those of you who were not selected this time continue to pursue the excellent goals outlined in your applications.
