Drupal branded shop for Drupal.org proposals requested

As part of the redesign we will be developing some new branding for Drupal.org. Once we settle on a new brand we are going to want to start promoting it. Part of that effort will including buying branded merchandise via Drupal.org with profits going to the Drupal association.

There have been community stores in the past notably:

  1. Zazzle Drupal store, formerly Goodstorm built on Drupal
  2. Cafepress Drupal store

We have been approached recently by a member of the community to develop the shop on the Drupal.org infrastructure and complete fulfillment. If you are interested in submitting a shop proposal please let the association know via the contact form.

Got questions?

  • Put the Drupal community first, make the store easy to use and keep the prices accessible.
  • We have over 150 local groups world wide, shipping will be an issue.
  • The new Drupal brand we be part of a major marketing push for the Drupal project combined with the new Drupal.org site. The merchandise should be quality in materials and of respectable nature for our entire community.

      I once buyed a tshirt from zazzle, but have to say the quality of the printing is very poor.
      After 2 washes, the colour began to go off.
      I think the drupal association needs to look for quality shirts, not fast-food printing.

      I know, it is very easy to setup this, but i never buy anything again from them, thats for sure.

      PS: i also would love a darkdrupal tshirt ;)

      And I agree about quality. Most of branded tshits are poor.
      I only remember one that was really good, but that was light years ago.
