Nominations are currently open for two "at-large" directors of the Drupal Association. The purpose of the two at-large board positions is to give a broader community input into the board. Nominations close January 29th at midnight UTC.

What's involved with being a Drupal Association director?

The board directors of the Drupal Association are responsible for setting policies for the organization, including aims and objectives. Directors are expected to contribute around five hours per week and attend four in-person meetings per year (financial assistance is available if required). See the original elections announcement and documents linked there as well as the elections overview for more details.

Who can run?

There are no restrictions on who can run, and you don't need anyone to nominate you.

What will I need to do during the elections?

During the elections, members of the Drupal community will ask questions of candidates. They'll post comments on candidate profiles here on association.drupal.org and to the public Drupal Association group at http://groups.drupal.org/drupal-association. And we'll also organize two all candidates meetings (which will be announced on the Drupal Association group), where community members and candidates will be able to ask questions and share information. The more you can participate, the more Drupal community members will be able to find out what you would bring to the Drupal Association board.

How do I sign up as a candidate?

If you decide to run as a candidate, log into this site and nominate yourself by filling in and submitting the nomination form. You'll need to be a registered user of drupal.org. Once nominations close, your profile will be publicly available on drupal.org.

Thanks, and good luck!
